All Quiet on the Eastern Front

Not much to report at present. We're 2 days past the due date and there are few indicators that labor is imminent. As such, Kelly is trying out various methods (acupuncture, walking, spicier food) reputed to spur labor, in the hope that the baby will arrive before its scheduled induction.

So, life continues unabated. Kelly and her parents have been doing odd-jobs around the house, while I catch-up on previously unresolved items at work and plan for my time out of the office.

Thanks to everyone for their calls and emails; we will be sure to let you all know as soon as the baby is delivered.

Sorry to hear baby hasn't arrived yet (we are all very anxious wanting to know boy or girl), but glad to hear everything is going well. We have loved reading the blog and being updated :)

Thanks for the update. I have a good idea of what you're going through (Evan was three weeks late!). Stay in air conditioning and hang in there!

We haven't only been working...oh, what fun it is to:
Play a poker game Mick's co-workers made up.
Eat the nummy dinners Mick has cooked.
Swim at the neighborhood pool.
Watch cricket/soccer games on TV.
Avoid the heat by locking ourselves in the house.
Swing on the porch swing in the evening with the candles lit and the white Christmas light around the railing turned on.
Swing on the porch swing and read.
Go shopping at 7 corners.
...see, life in the fast lane ain't all that bad!
